How long are treatments?

The length of your treatment will be very short under the laser. In your consultation you will be given full information tailored to your skin and hair type as everyone is different. As a guide, for a small area such as underarms, face or upper lip, a treatment will take around 5 minutes. Chest or arms will take 10-15 minutes and full body hair removal can be completed in 45 minutes to an hour.

How many treatments will I require?

Our device is FDA approved for the permanent reduction of up to 80% of hair treated in 3 sessions. Everyone’s hair growth is different and most people need between 6 and 10 sessions to remove their unwanted hair.

Is laser hair removal the same as IPL hair removal?

No, however many clinics in Hervey Bay will market cheap IPL as laser hair removal, so it pays to check when comparing prices and ask if they use a GentleMax Pro or an IPL (intense pulsed light) or VPL (variable pulsed light) or SHR (super hair removal) device for hair removal. How should I prepare for my laser hair removal treatment?

We know it’s difficult in Hervey Bay, but avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks before your treatment, this includes using tanning products or fake tan.
